The Electa was an iron-hulled steam ship originally built in 1888. It was registered to Helsinki in between 1936 and 1940, so the photo is likely from the last years of the 1930s.
The ship was owned by Suomen Sokeri Oy (like apparently also the truck in the backround), so likely the crew is dealing with a cargo of sugar.
