I mean in china these models are open source and are far less disastrous when taking advantage of. Even in their scale, the fact leadership calls for regulations while the US spends trillions on AI while malicious people prompt around safety rails to hack companies and whatnot with no punishment whatsoever. To add even more fuel to the fire Grok has been used to undress people, even minors and the US seemingly still doesn’t give a sht.
The difference in competence.
Us are going to ban open models and fall behind the rest of the world badly imo.
