Yeah I sort my garbage too, I’m used to it from living in Italy where you’d get slapped with a fine if you didn’t, so why not just keep doing it?
I have a good view from my apartment, and I see the hill where Nubarashen landfill is located. I think it was on fire for 5 times last year. It’s a tragedy.

A small country like Armenia, geographically speaking, cannot afford not to recycle as much as possible if financially feasible! Separating garbage is just one aspect of it.

It was so difficult to recycle in Yerevan. Just a handful of points in the centre, so rare to find them.
Mayor promised to set up more collection points, let’s see if it works out.
