If I’m taking an international flight with a layover, I’d happily choose Istanbul over a cheaper alternative just because of the airport.

I had a layover in istanbul and walked from wing F to wing B. Which are in opposite sides(I think they are the top left and top right wings in this picture but not sure). It took me half an hour with only a short bathroom break

From my point of view, Turkey is the center of the world, between Asia, Africa , Europe and a bit of America.
The country can benefit a lot from it in a lot of ways.

A reminder that the Turkish opposition vehemently opposed the new airport, they also opposed the new bridge, the new underground tunnel and every single large infrastructure project.
If anything is good for Turkiye, the Turkish opposition will do its best to stop it.

I worked at the construction of this airport. 18–20k steps per day was just a normal day at work.
