    1. Basically the size of Alaska, but (in Congo’s case) a hundred million people living there. The Second Congo War is the deadliest conflict since WWII, with over 5 million deaths.

      Costs to build roads, highways and railways will be high in Algeria and DRC given their large size. Best to build big high-density, high-rise cities HongKong style with subway networks to optimize infrastructure spending. High-rise is also more efficient to climate control so Algerians and Congolese can stay comfortable inside given their climates can be harsh.
