      Performing at the Kennedy Center was always a dream of mine growing up. I’ll never perform there, I don’t have the talent. I have a brother who has played there several times and I’m happy for him. It’s a shame what this administration has done to our cherished institutions.

      What’s wild is how much our norms have shifted in such short time. Had another President done this it would have been a scandal akin to
      Watergate. There would be Congressional hearings and talk of if this is an impeachable offense. Instead we will all move on to the next catastrophe (looking at you interest rates) and this will fade into the background noise.

      Memorials are created to honor the dead, not the living. The JFK Memorial honors a fallen president. Period.

      Kennedy Center’s trump appointed board votes to shut down. This acts like Kennedy center is in some way independent of trump, that is no longer the case.

      These little headline inaccuracies add up and normalize the lies for people that aren’t paying attention
