      I’ll never not object to calling something Starship when it cannot traverse star systems in any kind of human lifetime. I know it’s an exciting name but it’s wrong and it’s unearned.

      Wouldn’t the first operational flight require a catch of both ship and the booster? Otherwise this is just a stupidly oversized and over engineered rocket for the task.

      >Starship will deliver 26 Starlink V3 satellites to orbit for the first time, which aim to greatly expand the network’s capacity and user speeds. Each Starlink V3 satellite will add 1 Tbps of capacity to the constellation, for a total of 26 Tbps of capacity added on this mission alone. That’s ~10x the capacity compared to a single launch of V2 mini Starlink satellites on Falcon 9.

      So this one launch is equal to 10 Falcon 9 launches in terms of capacity. And that’s just the first operational flight.
