The Environmental Protection Agency said Monday it is repealing rules that limit planet-warming greenhouse gas emissions from power plants fueled by coal and natural gas and announced it is taking a separate but related step to prevent future administrations from regulating climate pollution from power plants.
The rule change, first proposed last year, represents a fundamental shift from efforts by Democratic Presidents Joe Biden and Barack Obama to address climate change and clean up industrial pollution.
So in other words the T. administration is deliberately destroying the environment.
The lawsuits will fly fast and furious, but this administration is almost cartoonishly evil.
Christ….everything the USA used to complain about China doing, it is now doing.

Utilities don’t want coal plants. Natural gas turbines are cleaner, easier to start and shut down to meet demand, and way less expensive to build. The primary reason that gas is so cheap is that another Republican administration made it easy to frack for natural gas. Coal plants aren’t coming back. They don’t make economic sense.
The is orwellian level craziness. I remember when the environmental protection agency actually protected the environment.
I’m doubtful any power company is going to change their emissions, since all it takes is another administration to come in and change everything back.
Isn’t it called the Environmental ***Protection*** Agency?
Perhaps, like the Department of War, they should change the name to reflect their intent.
