    1. I used to ship/transport a lot of produce that originated from Gates owned farms. Mostly potatoes and onions. McDonald’s was a big end customer, that and wholesale/restaurant supply type outfits.

    2. Why? Is it unusually profitable? Or is there some other reason for him to do this?

For anyone wondering why the one acre in New Mexico, it’s apparently pretty mundane. Gates and the other founder of Microsoft lived there before the company was created and so he still has a property there

These maps make me laugh. Guess the party affiliation of the top 5 private land owners in the US.

Guess how many acres they own. Hint: More than 10 million acres compared with this gates 5g nanobot nonsense (which is all this type of image is used for, conspiracy theories and boogie men).

Louisiana and Arkansas make up nearly half the entire portfolio. He really went all in on that lower Mississippi region.

This isn’t even all of it. He also owns thousands of acres in North Dakota. I had to acquire some of their land for a flood control control project

    7. King Ranch is 825,000 acres for reference. That is one ranch held by one family. This is very little land and the title is just wrong on so many levels.

I’d like to see where JD Vance’s PE is at after he’s done buying all the bankrupt farms he and trump/project 2025 are causing. This k shaped economy is working out well for him

Is Arizona that city he wanted to build West of Phoenix a few years ago, then radio silence since then?

    10. so 420 sq miles, or imagine a one mile path from oklahoma city to San antonio

    11. The reason is that he gets tax advantages. Farmland provides unique financial legal loopholes that significantly lower tax burdens for ultra-wealthy individuals.

    12. That 1 acre in New Mexico worries me. I never seen the term acre used out side of acers. Kind of like everyone has nukes but you worry more about the single one.

    13. For some reason, this reminds me of Dick from Supernatural. The extradimensional evil entity that possessed a billionaire and bought land to make human farms so they could eat them.

How many villages and serfs come with this? Really, this looks like a bit of a runty Earldom, I bet the neighbouring knights and barons raid him with impunity.

Gates is far from the largest farm land owner in the US even as a single individual. Stefan Soloviev owns and actively farms over 400,000 acres

Funny Redditors decide not to bring up Epstein when he’s mention.
