>From June through August, Russia experienced 2,182 temporary airport shutdowns. By comparison, 1,923 such cases were recorded throughout the entirety of 2025.
This will absolutely crush the airplane companies. They need to always be going. Always flying. Always packed. Now they are not. Now these civilian planes will be used in military missions – most likely as cargo planes or transporting soldiers.
But this is also a sign of conscription coming. Stopping people from leaving.
