Ich habe einige Monate lang darüber nachgedacht und mich schließlich nach gründlicher Überlegung und einem Vergleich mit anderen persönlich möglichen Optionen (USA, Dänemark usw.) für einen Umzug nach Norwegen entschieden. Das Problem ist, dass ich eine Unterkunft einchecke finn.nr (auf Empfehlung durch Beiträge hier) und alles scheint übertrieben.
Ich erinnere mich, dass ich ein paar Monate vor dieser Entscheidung nach möglichen Mietmöglichkeiten gesucht habe und eine ansehnliche Anzahl an Unterkünften gefunden habe, meist Studentenwohnungen, die etwa 3000 kr kosteten und im Grunde alles beinhalteten, auch wenn einige Dinge geteilt wurden (wie Wäscherei oder Sozialräume). Um ehrlich zu sein, war dies ein guter Faktor für meine Entscheidung, denn sie schienen im Gegensatz zu meinen früheren Recherchen zu Dänemark reichlich vorhanden zu sein. Jetzt kann ich buchstäblich nichts Vergleichbares für weniger als 5000-6000 finden. Habe ich mir das nur eingebildet oder sind diese Schwankungen je nach Monat tatsächlich so stark? Vielleicht ist kürzlich etwas passiert? Ich bezweifle, dass der Tod des Königs irgendetwas damit zu tun hat.
Auf jeden Fall suche ich Rat. Ich würde mich sehr über Einblicke in die Orte freuen, die ich in Betracht ziehen sollte, sowie über allgemeine Tipps (insbesondere darüber, ob ein Umzug im Winter eine wirklich schlechte Idee sein könnte oder nicht). Wichtig ist, auch wenn einige von Ihnen vielleicht kritisieren (ich habe meine persönlichen Umstände), die Priorität wäre ein Ort, an dem ich so schnell wie möglich einen Job finden könnte, um meinen Lebensunterhalt zu bestreiten, denn gerade bei diesen Preisen kann ich mir wahrscheinlich nicht mehr als etwa drei Monate ohne Einkommen leisten.
Ich habe nichts gegen Städte mitten im Nirgendwo, wenn ich in der Lage wäre, mich selbst zu ernähren. Tatsächlich würde ich Optionen begrüßen, die online nicht leicht zu finden sind (natürlich solange ich eine Garantie dafür haben kann, dass sie keine Lüge sind). Ich kann jede Art von untergeordneter, körperlicher oder relativ technischer Tätigkeit ausüben; Mein Lehrplan ist jedoch eher einfach und begrenzt, daher hatte ich vor, eine beliebige Anzahl von Tagen damit zu verbringen, fast alle Einheimischen/Unternehmen aufzusuchen und höflich zu fragen, ob sie Mitarbeiter einstellen würden.

Well. I have five years in Norway . And 3 looking for a job in the energy sector. Not chance at all or any interview or possibility. I am in a big medium city and sent cv to around Norway . So, there’s not q big difference of hiring opportunities rather than just having a contact or someone that connects you into any field . As easy as that . You can spend as much time as you want studying a C2 in Norwegian, integrating yourself better than a Norwegian, been even more patriotic and behave as Norwegian as the King Haakon. But, you would not succeed here if you don’t have that person sadly . Most of people either comes as student through a master/phd program and lives with the cheap and good benefits. Or comes to the country from outside with a job already. Or comes as refugee and that’s another story . If you want to leave cheap come as student and find a cheap student residence max 7k monthly with everything include or if you want to try your luck as a simple mortal then you gonna need a couple of zeros in your sparekonto.
And btw , do not think to ask to the social security welfare they might make you feel guilty saying that you are the problem and you are the challenge because you have whatever thing against the system . Even though you are not the problem they will try to make you feel guilty. So if you need public help it is better that you became into be a drug addicted or alcoholic rather than been a simple mortal that wants to progress into the society . Inclusive you might get more economic support by that simple fact .

You found student housing for 3k per month? I paid more than that 25 years ago!
I’d be wary of offers for a „hybel“ with everything included for 3000 Kr a month. They usually really are in the middle of nowhere and you will usually have trouble even finding a busroute to the store or trainstation, , forget about somewhere to work.
You can live relatively cheap in the Norwegian countryside (still more expensive than Spanish countryside), but you absolutely need a car and you’ll want to know at least some of the locals.
Normal pricing for even tiny student housing around small towns or cities are 6000 Kr + these days.
Only paying 3000 Kr a month was normal around some towns like 20 years ago.
Also, unfortunately, I very strongly doubt that you will have much luck finding a job going store to store unless you’re exceptionally charming and secretly speak Norwegian fluidly.
I am going to be very honest, and most likely very harsh. Norway is not a country you just decide to move to unless you are rich, have a secured job before you come here or are a student.
Norway is an expensive country to live in, the job market is hard, even for native Norwegians, and it can be hard to integrate to. Put in dark and cold winters.
So I would seriously reconsider moving here, or at least secure some kind of job here before you move.
I think its not legal for a student to sublet his assigned student housing to a non student if you get reported both will end up in trouble.
And moving in to norway without a prior job is also not a good idea.
You could try to enroll in the Norwegian culture and language course then apply for student housing yourself and find part time jobs as a start maybe? Its a year long course. It also shows that its not just a spur of moment thing
