      On the contrary, he has made setting up shop in USA even more difficult with increased prices for Steel and Aluminum for a start. It makes more sense to build in Canada now.

      I keep reading that the Canadian economy is rebounding pretty well. Might be less chaotic for companies to be located in Canada where partnerships with other countries are more stable.

      I would llke to see just one opposition voice to the daily insanity on the US national news, but either there is no opposition (or it’s controlled) or all of the the news media are complicit in amplifying the orange turd’s bleatings, with not even a request for comment from any opposition leaders.

      I can’t even follow the single brain-cell logic on this one.

      He wants Canada’s things. Canadian Companies have Canada’s things, and some sell those things to the U.S.- so come move to the U.S., where you can sell… the U.S.’s things back to the U.S.? But then who would sell Canada’s things to the U.S. now that the businesses relocated to the U.S.?

      Actually, never mind, don’t explain it to me, I prefer my brain cells unrotted.

      Trump’s goal has always been to de-industrialize Canada – or at least, it’s the goal of his toadies, especially Nutlick and Navarro. Their view on the world posits Canada solely as a supplier of natural resources. Our job isn’t to produce anything – it’s to buy their products at an exorbitant markup while otherwise doing what they order us to do, or else to surrender and allow ourselves to be annexed. This is essentially how Russia behaved towards Ukraine in the years leading up to the occupation of Crimea. You can see them setting the stage right this moment to turn Alberta into just such a situation, right down to pumping up the separatists and seeding them with American provocateurs and American money. When the referendum fails, they’ll almost certainly try to foment some kind of violent protest movement in Alberta, which they’ll use as a pretext to „protect the rights of proud Albertans from the very nasty Canadian socialists, who have treated us very badly for many years and rigged the referendum against the freedom-loving Alberta people.“

      Remember people, the whole 51st state shit isnt done. The whole tariffs cuz less than 1% fentanyl came from us, the whole trade war, the renaming of lake ontario, ppl call it trolling, this is how it all starts. I give it until the Alberta Referendum before they take physical approaches. If the referendum passes he’ll say hes doing it in order to help them separate, and if it fails he’ll say hes doing it to help cuz it was stolen or the government lied.
