Dieser Typ hat seine Visitenkarte über meinen Briefkasten geklebt und jetzt muss ich herausfinden, wie ich den Kleber abbekomme, ohne dass die Wandfarbe abplatzt.

The email is right there, I would consider sending him an email. Send him the photos, express your frustration politely and see if he’s receptive.
Depending on how much it would cost to repair you could take them to small claims court but I doubt this kind of damage would be worth it.
Edit to add:
Just because that’s someone’s business card does not mean they were the ones to actually do it. I have a lot of people’s business cards so that doesn’t inherently prove the person named did it. Try to get them to acknowledge if they did it and be careful not to slander/libel people.

Know what type of glue my man? As in what’s it look like. Get yourself a plastic scraper or an old credit card first

I would try applying heat first, if the glue is „soft“ in texture. Get a hairdryer, point it at the glue for a couple secs, and try scraping it off. Repeat as needed. Obviously keep the hairdryer a couple of cms away from the glue, to prevent it from overheating. This is what I do to get stickers off containers and such, it works pretty well.

If you report him, it will just be a civil case for negligent damages (a little paint)
I would take his email, and sign them up for a lot of stuff….

Could you try with a solvent? Like WD-40 or some other solvent to soften the gum-like substance? Check to see if it reacts with the paint first.

Not worth it. Just yank it off.

Give it sone heat like someone said. It’ll come off. I wouldn’t bother with him. It’ll only prove he got under your skin.

He surely is a glue specialist if you need any help with that.

Malta actually has a specific rule against affixing advertising material to private property without the owner’s written consent, so gluing a business card to your wall is pretty clearly not okay.I’d report it to the local council and, if the glue has damaged the paint, to the police as property damage. The funny part is he literally left his name, phone number and email attached to the evidence 😅 Malta Police also lets you file reports online or at any station.

Use a hairdryer. When it gets hot it will be easier to peel off without damaging the paint.
