Oh, Steam Brew! Been a while since I saw it last… The Summer Ale and German Red are petty good!
Love this beer because I like Stout and Porter and it is not common at all here to get them at a good price.
They also have their lores posted on their website.
But I think they threw out the porter at least at my store because I guess it was not that much consumed.
I liked the imperial stout more 🙂
I always enjoy walking by those cans. Steam punk lady is pretty cool
Pretty decent stuff. Not really „good“ but the best craft beer you can buy at that price range by far
If you like it: get yourself a decent stash of those. The brewery (Eichbaum Mannheim) is insolvent and will be closed permanently end of September 2026
I prefer the silver (session IPA) and blue (Weizen IPA) ones. Sadly the IPA selection in the discounters in Germany is abysmal, so these Steam Brew cans are the closest craft beer that I could find. They taste Ok at best.
The stout one is decent. I picked up two cans the other day just cause of the design. Didn’t disappoint, as I was not expecting anything amazing.

I regularily bought their Session IPA but noticed that sometimes the quality/taste was really off unfortunately.
