That makes 2…what’s the best guess on how many other Twice members will leave? I’m guessing this means Tzuyu is almost certainly leaving as well.

Jihyo and Tzuyu are also rumored to leave. This means half the group won’t be under JYP anymore.

Actually son chaeyoung leaves jyp, twice’s chaeyoung is still in jyp.
They’re still going to be a thing every once in a while but it’s really an end of an era huh..
I’m really curious, but will never find out, what the decision making is for any TWICE members leaving. Are their goals and plans not in line with what JYPE can offer or wants and therefore no agreement can be reached? Are members wanting more money than JYPE is willing to pay? Do members just want a change of scenery? I mean, there are tons of factors and many of them don’t even require anyone to be the „bad guy“. But I do wonder what results in JYPE declining or the members declining signing a new contract.
I am also really curious to see how long the hiatuses are from TWICE music, content, and tours. Do they have a group comeback once a year? Once every two? A comeback and tour only on significant anniversaries?
Excited to see what direction the careers go though. Who goes all in on solo music, who goes hard on variety content, enters the socialite life, who disappears, and who gets married first. Though I wouldn’t be surprised if they went the route of SNSD and sadly avoided marriage due to the impact it has on careers.
is this really big deal ? maybe less work as a group but they will prolly be kinda active like SNSD ?

It’s a lot to take in as a fan but it’s easier to come to terms with this when everyone is staying in the group.
Hers was the most expected one at this point. Her idea of music is very different at this point in her career so is normal for her to explore new routes for the solo career.

i’m not surprised. i expected some of them leaving the company for solo opportunities with other managment but staying with the group
No jam bros went solo. That’s 2 out of the 4 rumors. Jihyo and Tzuyu are most likely also true.
Damn, for some reason I didn’t expect her to leave. Looking forward to what she does next!

I don’t wanna be that guy but I can see this happening down the line with ITZY, NMIXX too. The label just isn’t doing enough for them to continue to stay.
They’ve been in JYP for so long and renewed several times as a group before so all these departures from the label isn’t new. Twice group activities are def slowing down but they all deserve meaningful breaks and next chapters.
Also it’s crazy Day6 is the only full group among JYP’s 3rd gen above still in the agency right now.
Am I the only one that’s getting more and more excited for them as they leave JYPE? Clearly JYPE couldn’t manage all 9 of them and they all have so much passion for their own crafts. I can’t wait to see all their visions
And the best part is I’m not even worried about ot9 TWICE. People keep speculating that they’ll just be another SNSD and come back once in a blue moon but honestly nothing about TWICE so far has been anything like SNSD. This isn’t the shackles and dungeons of SM, I think they will prioritize TWICE a lot even during their solo endeavors.
Besides, TWICE with a slower schedule might as well be a normal groups schedule. They used to pump out 2 and a half projects within a year, doing just one isn’t gonna slow them down at all.
Gosh I hope Tzuyu does the same. She has so much potential! Love these girls so much, I’m so excited for this new chapter of TWICE!
Chaeyoung always felt like the wildcard when it came to contract negotiations. With Jeongyeon, we have known for a while that she doesn’t want to do solo music work and has wanted to do acting, so leaving JYP was obvious. Jihyo also seems like someone who would want to leave and start her own company.
I wonder if Chaeng will start her own company.
Loved the solo album, hopefully this means the next one is coming sooner than later
The crazy thing is that with the way these smaller agencies are turning out, it might be better for some members to squeeze concessions out of JYP than to leave.
She had my favorite solo thus far. Wherever she’s going I hope her artistic vision is supported.

Welp now , I dont regret seeing them live for both world tours .
They will probably have a comeback in a couple of years but who knows at which scale , low key end of an era even if not the end of TWICE .
