      Every outlet I saw pushed it as a shark attack. All mainstream media just want clicks and don’t care for information.

      Who wouldn’t bite someone who was sticking metal hooks into their flesh and ripping them out again 🤷‍♀️ You would swear reading some of the coverage that Jaws himself was roaming the south coast with a bloodlust on him.

      So he was an idiot. I naively thought our news outlets were insulated from the american style of copy and paste engagement bait. I lost the last of my trust when they all reported that the girl transporting the bomb over the border the other week spent 2 years in syria based on one person’s mishearing of the fact shes been a member of Saoradh. Such an enourmous statement to make without a single source.

      Bloke gets a chomp in his calf while de-hooking a blue shark in a boat.

      I got bitten down to the bone by a Pike in Lanesborough in 1996 when I was 11. PIKE ATTACK!

      It’s more „Shark Self Defense“ than „Shark Attack“. Leave the poor things alone and they won’t bite you!

      Every media outlet is reporting this like it’s as a Jaws type shark attack. The shark was trying to save itself. Total overreaction by our media outlets.

      I hope the shark was returned to the water.

      I saw that it had happened on a fishing boat and just assumed some dumb prick had been bitten by a poor shark that had either purposefully or accidentally caught.

      it says about 30% of blue sharks still die after catch and release from fighting the line and damage from the hook
