Is it kinda not technically banned away? Like having your pint on the road.

Suppose it’s too hard to just stop the teenage bullshit? I’ve been out there a few times during the good weather and it was a very pleasant experience to sit out with a pint. Let’s ban that, instead of God forbid doing something about the recent antisocial behaviour.

    3. The most backwards country. Most European countries have lovely outdoor areas for pubs that don’t have beer gardens. Our weather is getting warmer and sunnier overall. Public drinking laws should be relaxed, focus on being drunk and disorderly laws instead. Pedestrianise more streets across the country. Remove cars from the town and city centres. Cop on

    4. They’d rather ban things that adults enjoy than cracking down on cuntish teens. We have things backwards in this country.

    5. Lol. Tom O’Leary would turn up to the opening of a can of beans. They’ll get a few weeks out of it and then things will go back to normal.

Just have the army patrol the waterfront. Don’t punish good honest drinkers.

The recent mayhem there isn’t likely to be coming from pub customers tbh – they’re teenagers / early 20s bringing their own drink, drugs and chaos.

They need to put more resources into patrolling beaches near cities in hot weather.

So the guy who was out on bail for weapons (guns ?*) and drugs charges used a tonne vehicle as a weapon in a disagreement over parking. And the Garda are saying that’s it’s the 99.9% of the population who enjoy a social drink in lovely surroundings who must suffer. The guy got bail again and I don’t recall reading anywhere that there was sanctions on his driving or limit of travel.

And people wonder why the Garda haven’t the respect of the people.

The fighting on the quay wall was reported to the guards what was the response for not sending a car down I’m aware the public order van came from swords but a local Garda with their body cam could have stopped it from escalating as soon as the call went in.

But two three weeks later a senior Garda finds his way out from behind a desk/golf course and makes a BS decision. The pubs themselves could enforce the no drinking outside the premises if and when needed with the local Garda calling down also.

    9. The guards seem to base their decisions from the mindset of fat lazy cunts who want to do as little as humanly possible.

    10. Nanny State period, The Absolute state of this country is a joke go over to Prague or Berlin see how better it is wow cant have nice things in the country, Bunch of babys also the off licence closes early here and gone are the whispers of later extension hours what a joke dont get me started on the pricing of drink and more places closing than opening.

I will rant a little as I’ve genuinely moved out of the country 2 years ago and am here on holidays at the moment and can genuinely see it now as to why there are more irish outside of the place than there are in it we can only tolerate so much i had to leave for reasons that the government could have solved but nah couldn’t be done over night sure.

Having someone sit outside on a chair having a pint has nothing to do with these cunts running each other over. Ridiculous overreaction
