Nearly lifelong Texan here. I left my entire life behind to relocate to the Bay Area last year, and I haven’t regretted a single day. I have real rights, the weather is amazing, the food is incredible, the people are great, and it’s so fucking beautiful here. I’ve found a level of happiness that I was never going to find in Texas. I knew there was better out there, but I really had absolutely no idea just how right I was about that.

One thing I noticed when driving through Texas was how many billboards were advertising weed lawyers. We don’t have those in the legal states I’ve lived but it makes me wonder how much money is made by the lobbies trying to keep it banned.
