When the England team wanted to wear pro-LGBT bands FIFA said they would yellow card every single player, yet somehow I feel Argentina will get away with a fine that makes up just 1% of their weekly salary

    2. A poxy little fine. That’s what they’ll get. So FIFA can say „look we punished them“ whilst actually not punishing them at all.

What does investigating mean in this context? Asked for a bribe to look the other way and Argentina said no?

Their investigation found that they need £20bn in investment. More on this shortly.

Argentina need banning from the next world cup after their appalling behaviour. No investigation required just watch the footage.

Tap on the wrist and a fine at most, which incidentally is a nice way for the money transfers out of the AFA.

    7. Considering they would have been allowed to fly it again if they won then no, nothing will come of this.

Must be a pretty short investigation given that it was literally broadcast around the world.

Imagine it had been England with a Falklands banner how that would have been recieved

Infantino under pressure i see. Nothing will happen here like their disgusting scenes in the final.

Forget the Falklands banner, every single player who stood with their back to the winning team at the trophy ceremony should be banned from the next world cup.

    12. Fifa will probably give Argentina a prize for being so brave throughout this ordeal.

    13. The Argentina sub will be going mad about this. They’ve somehow painted us as thinking about them 24/7 so I imagine they’ll be making more posts about this.

    14. So, are we all assuming that nothing will come of this.. with some bullshit excuse about ‚rogue players‘ and ’spur of the moment‘ type language.

Who is gonna investigate fifa for letting Donald trump dictate their disciplinary decisions?

A riot broke out in Argentina after they lost, not the first time Argentina has rioted when it lost, needs to be said

    17. Outrageous_Mango_968 on

Investigation concluded – England banned from the next world cup.

    18. Well they already faced the punishment, they had to pretend okay the final, didn’t they?

Milei is and has been using the Falklands to distract from his complete ruining of the Argentinian economy and these fuckos play along.

Does this really need an investigation, it’s clear as day what happened.

The only thing that would need investigating is if the Argentinian players holding the banner could read.

FIFA couldn’t give a monkeys about it. That organisation needs totally rooting out and restarting from scratch preferably with ex players heading it up

„we investigated ourselves“. FIFA is beyond corrupt, shut it down, investigate it ALL

Fifa announces they are selling out (more)

Uefa, the FA, and UK PM all criticised this decision.

Then Fifa announce they will investigate something that most in the UK want investigated.

Sounds like an attempt to get people to shut up about the corruption.
