US losing allies is sweet music to China and Russia’s ears. Dumb move America!

    2. Step 1: Send people to a gulag in El Salvador against court orders and without due process
Step 2: Act like a petulant little bitch when called out on it

If you are going to „vicemaxx“, at least own it.

      Coincidence? I think not.

      >“The US used to be a beacon of human rights. Not anymore. Today, it stands alongside North Korea, Nicaragua, Mali & Russia, isolated. And the world no longer listens to it,” the French Mission tweeted.

      Youch.

The US complained that the EU (along with Canada and others) were importing goods produced by forced labor.

Meanwhile, the right of the states to engage in forced labor is *constitutionally protected* in the United States.

Huh. Maybe France has a point.

Flouncing like the abusive emotionally stunted narcissists they are.

Aren’t they using Human Rights as a pretext for widespread new tariffs? The timing is a bit embarrassing for them.

    8. Andovars_Ghost on

Well, when you start slapping ‘human rights violations’ on other countries in order to do bullshit tariffs, expect some blowback on your own behavior. We of all people should not be casting stones on damn near ANY topic nowadays!

      Trump administration officials

Get confronted with reality on anything then start to act like a petulant child

Blame it’s because Joe Biden or Barack Obama

Crash out on live tv(specifically Fox News)

Walked out of a meeting with a fellow democracy if not make deranged humiliating but insulting remarks

      Then repeat

    10. I remember when we used to lead the world on issues like this and could rally international support.  Now the US acts like a petulant child, stomping out of the room when told something they don’t like.  Just sad and weak

    11. Why stay when you can’t talk your way out of the problems you created. The Trump regime are not serious when they get criticized, seems all they do is yell and make threats like we are in kindergarten

    12. Typical move by the people that want to impose their values upon others but absolutely cannot take criticism.

    13. I wish everyone else would reciprocate when Trump opens his stupid fat mouth. It’s an absolute embarrassment that the press corps did not walk out on his incredibly bad „speech“ at the correspondents dinner.

ICE has a terrible Record and the higher ups deserve all the shame for covering it up and doing nothing

    15. The US is a pure shitshow right now. Idiocracy irl. I wonder when they will begin to fertilize their fields with gatorade smh.

    16. PurpleSailor on

When you gaslight your citizens and the world people are going to call you out.

    17. Right after having imposed new tarrifs on French imports on a *trumped*-up human rights basis, right? Of course the response from many countries will be to highlight the hypocrisy given the pretty awful human rights record of the US, especially under the current regime.

    18. Drakkulstellios on

Walking out is the exact same as ignoring the past in this case. A mature adult will take the criticism and not make a scene which clearly they weren’t capable of.

      Not wrong though.

Don’t get to pointing fingers too soon, this is Reddit but the laundry lists get long depending when we are talking about.

Absolutely correct. The US is seething because France spoke the truth.

Did you guys know Jared Kushner’s dad is the ambassador to France and that France restricted his access because he’s an insufferable idiot?

    22. Candelpins1897 on

Let’s hope we can look back at this time and do a 200% turnaround like Germany did back in their facist regime days.

Crazy how much I’m reminded of the Soviet Union in the 80’s with my own fucking country.
