Seems to be localized to studying water quality in tribal communities across the west. Wonder how this compares to rural communities or the urban water supplies. I’d guess that there is a likely correlation with water hardness.
I have bipolar, and they’re really not sure the mechanism. It could have to do with neuroplasticity.

Lithium is a perfectly normal trace mineral to have in drinking water. Areas with more trace lithium have happier people.
