I am waiting for the right to justify this constant hypocrisy and inconsistency as just a tactic used to „keep our enemies off balance“. The lying is just to confuse those who would do them harm because they can’t know which is true and which is false. Which is absolutely it how a government should run or present itself to its citizens, but at some point they are going to try that narrative, and the right will eat it up and claim it is the best strategic thinking they have ever seen.
