They’re not guardrails that are needed it’s laws and enforcement of laws equally.
SC Justices and GOP lawmakers have empowered Trump to abuse the power of the president at the expense of Americans.

We don’t need guardrails. There are laws in place now to stop him. The crazy part is no one is stopping him. So, he becomes more empowered to break more laws since he isn’t being even accused of breaking a law let alone being charged with a crime.
How is it that the courts determined he does not have the power to pass tariffs and then he says he’s going to pass more tariffs?? The Republicans won’t do anything and the Democrats don’t have the majority. And we the people just sit here and watch our country being destroyed.
If western democracy survives this, Trump will have been the accidental savior by exposing all the hidden ghoulish behavior … for ego. It was all happening behind the scenes, he just scaled it 100x.
I in fact do not believe the stomach exists to fix it.
Guardrails are what are needed.
Consequences and enforcement are what is required.
Half-measures are just as meaningless as words.
Proper guardrails so Trump can blast through them, got it.
