      Dokyeom gave a heads up on Weverse live yesterday but I didn’t expect Vernon in the same notice. I wonder if it’s because of Vernon’s asthma that he’s doing public service instead of active duty.

      I’m surprised V8 didn’t have a concert stop in Japan, it turns out Vernon’s enlisting next month.

      We just found out about dokyeom yesterday but Vernon too?? 😭 And he’s going so much earlier than expected. I guess that makes sense why V8 promos were so short

      Never thought it would be time for the two to enlist so soon, but here we are (even with Kyeom gave us a heads up about it yesterday). Hope the boys stay safe and healthy throughout their military service.

      as a Vern bias this notice in particular just makes me feel many emotions and this could explain how V8’s promotional period kind of felt like it ended abruptly, idk it just felt a wee bit silent after such a fun few weeks.. honestly very bittersweet, anyone who biases / follows him closely would know just how we’re not used to seeing so much of him so V8 era was really really special

      at the end of the day I’m so happy that he was so happy during this subunit, that he’s so pleased with the album he worked so hard on, that Minghao initiated for this subunit to happen, and that they’ll continue to put music out as V8 after Vernon comes back :‘)

      I hope all goes well for him, Dokyeom and the rest we’re still waiting notices on

      I know Vernon has a complicated history with his identity but I truly hope enlisting will be the experience he’s looking for to help his reconcile that

      They’re both my biases. I was expecting DK’s enlistment after his heads up yesterday but not Vernon too. And if he’s doing alternative service, he’s gonna be gone for a while. Makes me sad 🙁

      I really assumed that the Doremiz would enlist together. Maybe Mingyu, Seungkwan and Dino will. Who knows.

      For those asking, mingyu has said he hasn’t received his letter from the military yet so he doesnt have an entrance date

      It bothers me that they didn’t list Vernon first and then DK to align with the order of the dates (8/20, 9/8) 😐

      I think Vernon will be back later than the other four, right? He’ll probably serve for almost two years just like Wonwoo, right? I’m sobbingggggg 😭 i was only prepared for DK last night….
