This simply demonstrates that the American electorate isn’t as unhappy with this fucked up incompetent corrupt idiotic administration as we like to think. This is the sad reality of today’s America, we deserve what we have, because the destruction of the country is what people want.

      HOW!

With all Republican and Trump has done in the last one an a half year, HOW are Dems still underdogs in Senate??

It should be a massive sweep

    3. swiftlessons on

That’s crazy…. They literally have a senator that is assume dead, and this party is hiding it from his constituents.

Stop listening to the polls. Democrats need to win big to counter the cheating of Trump and Elon.

      Go out and vote.

    5. D-MAN-FLORIDA on

Well, that just means they need to keep trying for the senate. Don’t get complacent.

    6. > DDHQ forecasts Democrats winning a 15-seat advantage in a 225-210 House, while Republicans narrowly retain power in a 50-50 Senate with Vice President Vance as the tiebreaker vote. As of late July, Democrats had a 60 percent probability of winning the lower chamber, while Republicans had a 60 percent chance of holding the Senate.

If those seat numbers materialize, it would be a great result for Dems.

But only 60% Dem win probability for the House is quite heartening for Republicans.

The Senate was designed to disenfranchise high population centers and dilute their voice. It was never fair that all states have 2 senators regardless of population.

    8. Check your voter registration routinely and encourage everyone you know to do the same. VOTE. Those of us that participate in the upcoming elections will decide the fate of generations. This isn’t akin to anything we’ve said the same about before.

Everything will be determined by the next few elections. Our lives and those of our children depend on it.

    9. I can’t imagine who’d be excited about reelecting any republican. Iran, gas prices, inflation, Saudi nukes, tariffs… it’s like L after L after L

The fate of the country is at stake and leaving it in the hands of Republicans is ruinous for everyone. How fucking stupid can the voters be?

    11. So, as things stand, strongly worded impeachment by the house, no removal by the Senate.

I’m hoping that the Dems get out in vote vs staying home to protest a D candidate they don’t like.

I will straight ticket D until the cows come home if that’s what it takes.

Be careful my fellow Americans. These articles are sometimes made in bad faith, hoping to exploit bystander effect.

They write these articles because they want potentially left leaning voters to think „oh well weve got this, my vote wont help.“

Right wingers will vote regardless because they love what Trump has been doing.

Go out and vote. EVERY vote matters.

This is propaganda to make us complacent. It is very likely to be an uphill battle even if polls are in our favor. We know this administration, in conjunction with the richest man in the world, will do everything in their power, legally or otherwise, to push the needle in their direction.

    15. Majority of Republicans I know in NC are not voting in any election after being lied too.

    16. Don’t. Get. Compacent.

Ignore every single post like this. Vote like it’s a tiebreaker.

    17. I don’t want a blue wave, I just want a sanity wave. I’m fine with anyone winning who is willing to stand up against the administration and do the hard thing for the benefit of this country

    18. Llama_of_the_bahamas on

why does seeing a picture of Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jefferies smiling piss me off?

    19. Don’t ever underestimate the ability of DNC to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory

    20. Ignore the news. Ignore the polls. Ignore your cray uncle. Ignore the fortune tellure. Ignore the tea leaves.

Vote. It doesn’t matter what they say the odds or chances are. Vote.

    21. cloud_watcher on

Dems could easily win the senate if democrats would just vote instead of throwing shit at each other. Literally just vote.
