Drei Viertel der Polen befürworten trotz historischer Auseinandersetzungen eine Zusammenarbeit mit der Ukraine gegen Russland. Die von der staatlichen polnischen Forschungsagentur CBOS durchgeführte Studie kommt außerdem zu dem Ergebnis, dass eine große Mehrheit der Polen glaubt, dass gute Beziehungen zur Ukraine nur möglich sein werden, wenn historische Probleme gelöst sind.

Historical issues in question: „Acknowledge you killed this made-up number of Polish victims and condemn your national heroes. Also forget about war crimes of Armiya Krajowa, pacification of Ukrainians, displacement of Ukrainians on occupied territories. Those never happened. We are right. You are wrong.“
I’m so tired of people in this country sacrificing the future in the name of the past. I think it’s one of our worst national flaws.
