as I understand it, birds are just dinosaurs that didn’t go extinct.
Science understands that dinosaurs are NOT extinct. When you think of “dinosaurs” like Jurassic Park, you are thinking of NON AVIAN dinosaurs. No conspiracy here, just take a fossil records class

I think you just don’t understand the classification system. Dinosaurs aren’t just “old animals“ – they are a specific classification. We don’t classify them incorrectly, you just don’t understand how we classify them.
