Istanbul, Turkiye as seen from the International Space Station. A city of ancient history and many empires! Its lights are also diverse in color and intensity, spread through hills and historic streets, characteristic of old world cities. I took this photo on Expedition 72 to the ISS, using Nikon Z9. Wow! As a former resident, I thank you for sharing this. Is it possible to see a higher resolution version somewhere?

That white light on the left is the (utterly massive) airport.

Istanbul is one of my favorite cities to visit. Such a stunning experience to walk through that much history. I love seeing the Bosphorous outlined here.
