Istanbul, Turkiye as seen from the International Space Station. A city of ancient history and many empires! Its lights are also diverse in color and intensity, spread through hills and historic streets, characteristic of old world cities. I took this photo on Expedition 72 to the ISS, using Nikon Z9. That white light on the left is the (utterly massive) airport.
Istanbul is one of my favorite cities to visit. Such a stunning experience to walk through that much history. I love seeing the Bosphorous outlined here.
