The US State Department for decades listed Australia’s compulsory voting as a human rights violation. This only stopped under the Second Trump Administration because their DOGE expenditure review committee ended that ‚woke‘ report.
So honestly, evaluating ‚election integrity‘ is not a strong suit of the US.
I even hear the US had an attempted coup where the vote counters in the national parliament had to flee for their lives, successfully escaping along with the votes.
