Ich interessiere mich einfach für Architektur und habe diesen Sommer finnische Herrenhäuser erkundet. Es gibt viele schöne Gebäude in unserem Land, von denen ich einige noch gar nicht kannte! All of them are so cool! Louhisaari has to be my favourite one. The one you captioned as „Urpola Manor, Mikkeli“ is actually in Humppila. There is a manor in Urpola, Mikkeli as well, so I get the mix-up

The surroundings of Louhisaari are also very beautiful, and the finest features of the building are the beautiful wall and ceiling paintings. The manor is used as a museum, and I recommend taking a guided tour there.

This „new“ main building of the manor is only 141 years old, but significant is that same noble Finnish-Swedish family has owned the estate since 1614.
