The guy is often in the news because he likes to provoke. His bar is popular with some left-wing people (IIRC the local Groen/Ecolo group was sometimes meeting there a few years ago, don’t know if it’s still the case).
The painting with GLB is definitely not OK. An American flag with a star of David is not the kind of imagery the left should be using, that’s far-right antisemitic stuff.
