      I don’t understand why SA doesn’t normalize with Israel and then help rebuild Gaza. Taking Hamas/Gaza/Palestine away from Iran seems like such an easy/obvious play right now.

      The Saudi government has been quietly complicit with Israel for a long time now. They only outwardly claim to be in solidarity with Palestine because they know the general Arab population is for the Palestinians and don’t want unrest from them

      I’m actually confused. What would SA need nuclear power? They have *checks notes* massive amounts of oil and natural gas. *wipes off sweat from head from the massive amount of sun from the Saudi sunshine* Oh hey they could probably do solar too and not depends on importing any additional fuel sources.

      The Saudis have been planning to normalize relations with Israel for a while. It’s a known thing. Nothing new. Trump just wants to look like he’s in charge and say he’s making a good deal.
