      Mike Johnson adopted an underage black male still in high school, when he was a young single man in his early 20s. Looks pretty fishy to me. He also seems to get pretty discombobulated every time someone brings that up.

      I would also like to point out that the Republicans Speaker of the House back in the 90s, Dennis Hastert, was a former gym teacher who molested a fuckton of boys (and was paying out millions of dollars of hush money to the former victims).

      Republicans like having a guy like this as speaker, in makes them fall on line and push whatever their party wants to do, regardless of how wrong it may be.

      I’ve said it for years, they attack LGBT folks because the choose to live as themselves while the closeted bigots suffer from self loathing because they cannot/will not live as their authentic selves. I am a woman loving hetro male by the way.

      I’m going to pick at the headline because he didn’t say DC was being run by that group. „Everybody knows there is like this closeted gay mafia, largely Republican, that exists in Washington, D.C., and everybody knows every single one of them who’s gay.“ The headline sounds funny but it’s a disservice to what he actually said which was measured. MAGA would/will have a field day with the idea that Hunter thinks they are all gay.

      At this point, I feel safer believing Taco Bell, Iran and Hunter than any other source inside the administration.

      I don’t want to act like everyone who’s gay acts the same, but Graham absolutely acted as if he were a Friend of Dorothy. Growing up in SC means he’d NEED to remain closeted in order to have any chance of a somewhat normal life if he were gay. I would not be surprised to hear he was.

      I would also say that calling him out for being a closeted homosexual is the one „L“ that Hunter has had over the last few months of his campaign to call out the bullshit that is the GOP currently.

      Call out the closeted mafia, sure. But I don’t think digging up Graham’s potential skeleton is worth the effort or even acceptable. Graham may not have been the best person on the planet, but sexuality is something I don’t really think should be villified unless it’s crossing a certain line and homosexuality is not that line.
