I saw a video of him breakdancing straight out of the hospital bed, so he’s obviously doing okay.
If Democrats had a spine the Governor of that state would just force a special election. But Dems never actually want to punish Republicans for this BS. Only that they’re “concerned.”
I’m pretty sure when you speak with „McConnell’s staff“ you’re already speaking with the entity that identifies as Mitch McConnell.
What I can’t tell is whether the democrats are on some pseudo intellectual Sun Tzu bullshit „don’t interrupt your enemy when they’re making a mistake“, or their normal „worried about the precedent it would set“ cowardice bullshit.
Either way, democrats are giant fucking losers.
They’re trying to run out the clock until August so they don’t hold a special election. These people need to go to jail for this coverup.

Two weeks from today, they will announce Moscow Mitch’s sudden and unfortunate death. „He seemed to be doing so well!“, his staff will lie.
Democrats will call him „friend“ and „great patriot“ in an attempt to gain the respect of people who will never vote for them, further alienating themselves from their actual voting base.
Maybe in a decade or two, there will be a book written by a staffer who knew the truth and needs a sudden influx of money.

Why doesn’t the Governor simply call for a special election ahead of the August deadline? Force them to show proof that the Senator is actually among the living.
Would dems even win a special election *in Kentucky* it seems just as likely Republicans are chosing to be down a senator for 6 months. This makes their narrow margin even smaller.
I feel like if McConnell has actually died that anyone covering it up needs to be brought on fraud and election interference charges.

Don’t you guys have any law that could be used to send someone to check on his health? To make sure he’s not being mistreated, abused or whaetver excuse you can find?
So they told us he fell, was briefly unconscious, suffered no broken bones, no concussion, no other serious injuries, and was simply recovering from pneumonia that he picked up in the hospital…
Over a month in hospital/rehab for pneumonia is ridiculous unless there are massive severe complications (like needing to be put on a ventilator) which their upright and smiling „proof of life“ photo would seem to deny.
Also, how many alert and aware 80+ year olds do you know who would voluntarily stay in a rehab facility that long? My 91 year old grandfather lasted 3 days after a bout of pneumonia before they set him up with in-home care because he was going to burn the place down.
Dude is long gone.
He’s either full dead or brain dead and on ventilators to skirt the laws. Either way he’s incapable of doing his job.
This is a trial run to see if they can do this for trump. They already have everything set up to fake him being alive: barracades, someone doing his social media for him, someone creating bills for him, AI models for his voice and likeness.. Etc
This is like not reporting your deceased parents so you can collect their social security checks.
His staff is not answering questions, so what happens when one of his constituents calls?

I think it was the day after the photo of him and his wife supposedly sitting in a hospital chair was released that I had found out his staff supposedly claimed that his wife had come back into the States from China but did not give an actual day when she came home and I haven’t heard anything about her being back since. Do we have any confirmation about where she is that isn’t from his staff?

If Breshear has any future political ambitions he absolutely has to make a stand at some point.
Follow your state constitution, and appoint someone and force them to prove it. Even if it’s a symbolic appointment where the person knows they are being appointed, to prove a point.
Call their fucking bluff…if he doesn’t, he’s toast for any presidential run.
