      We need people to explain this to Trump.
      Make it clear to him that Israel fears or respects Russia (Putin, anyway), but not the US. We need to be sure that it hurts his ego. Then maybe he will pivot the Republican party away from supporting Israel, and just maybe he starts saying all the dumb stuff he has said about Greenland about Israel instead.

      Ukraine also spent a couple decades at the UN constantly voting against Israel and with the Thirdwordlists and Muslims.

      I’m for helping Ukraine, because I hate the Russians. But it should be pretty clear why Israel didn’t feel compelled to help them. Never mind Russia’s presence in Syria being quite threatening to Israel.

      Russia had troops in Syria, pretty close to Israel’s borders. It shouldn’t be hard to see why the Israelis would look to maybe not make Russia mad at them.

      Please. Israel made so much money in process I doubt it was the sole reason.

      I’d argue it goes beyond not wanting to ‘upset Russia’. That would be the ostensible reason. The proper reason is that Netanyahu sees in Putin a fellow-traveler, an ally. Someone who is also looking to expand territory and commit ethnic cleansing. And if Russia can do it with impunity that is legitimization for Israel, and vice versa. On top of that there is a sizable Russian constituency in Israel, which plays a key role in the government coalition.

      What’s more insane is that Ukraine has been eagerly appeasing Israel, and has been making excuses for Israeli war crimes.

      Israel is only ever a friend to the West when it directly helps them conquer Palestinians

      Israel has enough enemies, much closer to home.  Why pick fights in other continents?  The defense of Europe is Europe’s responsibility.  You might as well ask why Mexico and Thailand didn’t jump in to help Ukraine.  

      Note that Israel did go to war against Russia’s close ally and drone supplier Iran.

      What a load of BS, Israel sent an entire military hospital staffed with their own people as well as tons of humanitarian aid, generators, anti drone tech, early warning radars etc. 

      They gave as much as they could without provoking Russia to start retaliating against Jews remaining there and directly against Israel by giving more support to the enemies on Israel’s borders.
