All I can see is a few men talking nasty to a few women and threatening them with violence. No clear reason why. No spilling of anything off the balcony. Would be great to see more footage showing what led to this situation.

I think it’s a venue problem: if they are a small hotel and were booked out for a wedding, they have rented the regular rooms above the wedding celebration area, the conflicts were inevitable. The rest is up for the police to sort out.

I’ve listened to the trashtalking in the video. Still not a single evidence of the reason for the conflict. Georgians downstairs cry out some nasty things. No urine, no wine or champagne spilled, no spitting. Just a trashtalk of the crowd.
I wonder how much dumb should one be to accept this video as a justification of violence? Where are the normal proofs. 100 people on the wedding and not a single video of women’s attitude? When I read the first mention of this event in some media, I was tending to justify Georgian side. But the more I see, the more it dumb.
P.S.: A couple of weeks ago there was also a scandal with to guys urinating at the church’s fence. They said also „ruzzians“, but it turned out they were Estland citizens.

The guy doesn’t even realize that this Russian girl is going to go back and tell everyone. There are a lot of Georgian families living in Russia. What if her brothers or neighbors just decide to get revenge? That’s how the cycle of hatred keeps going.

I’ve been living in Georgia as a guest for two years now, and I can say this: people will treat you with respect as long as you don’t cross the line. Before flying to another country to travel, the best thing you can do is read up on the culture and mindset of the people who live there, so you don’t end up in an unpleasant situation later on.
And my experience has shown that people respect you as long as you respect others.

Absolutely sick and tired of this country as a Canadian. I was assaulted by a Georgian male and the prosecutor is trying to cover the case. Doubt anyone gets justice in this case, too. I hope countries start issuing travel warnings to Georgia.
