This is the type of felony that you can commit, where you’ll still get my vote when you’re running for President.
It takes one out of 12 on this jury to simply say they didn’t meet the standard of evidence to convict and acquit

Someone posted, maybe in this sub a somewhat sarcastic list of things *not* to do if you were considering taking one of these out.
Like whatever you do, don’t *turn your mobile phone off before you get within a few miles of it,* and of course never *approach the pole from the blind spot behind it*, and of course don’t *remove any battery power connections that are available to you once it’s down on the ground*, etc. It was incredibly detailed and stayed on the edge of legality by not advising anyone to actually *do* any of these things. I wish I could find it again.

But they aren’t police cameras. Police cameras would be regulated by the city and open to FOIA requests.
The police might use some of the data, but these cameras are run by a for-profit company that doesn’t tell anyone what the data is used for.

A surveillance state bringing charges against people who are actively trying to keep it from becoming a surveillance state is so authoritarian it’s insane. This government has not represented the people for a very long time if ever. People will keep doing what has to be done to create a system that’s better for everyone.
