What interests me is not really whether the L03 becomes the single “Model Y killer.” China may not need one.
Xpeng is also considering European production, supplying technology to Volkswagen and hoping to license its driving software to other carmakers.
China may eventually export the system behind its EV industry, not only the cars. Europe would gain useful technology, but potentially also a new form of industrial dependence.
I mean the BYD Sealion 7 is very much in this category already.
Wait isnt that a sedan tho? Model Y is an SUV, bit of a weird matchup for a head to head battle.
