Raymond J. de Souza: Trump ist ein Gangster, der wie ein Präsident verkleidet ist

And 2/3rds of the voting U.S. population made him President.

The 1/3rd who actively voted for him and the 1/3rd who couldn’t get off their fat, stupid. Lazy arses to vote to stop it.

Make no mistake this is the fault of the overwhelming majority of the U.S. population and the blame lies on them. Remember that the next time you meet one and they claim it wasn’t them…. Statistically it most likely was.

It’s interesting watching Postmedia, who not so many years ago, was publishing panegyrics to Trump by the likes of Conrad Black (who used his discovery of his capacity for grovelling sycophancy when pursuing his pardon from the President), now try to walk the fence, and invoke some weak sauce of what they think constitutes patriotic fervor.

The requirements of maintaining the illusion that they are a Canadian media company means they have to sound, at least every once in a while, like they don’t want Canada firmly under America’s boot, their real job is to project and further just that proposition; that Canada is a weak, ineffectual, socially and morally bankrupt nation that can only survive so long as it permits tender ministries from kindly Uncle Sam.

As to Fr. Raymond J. de Souza, he has spent his career as a favored right wing columnist furthering this mission, using his frock and the conceit that he is a wise conservative statesman as a means to attack Canada’s brand of pluralistic liberalism. de Souza is one of the figures that constitutes the modern Canadian Conservative intellectual class, and to his credit he is far more erudite and coherent than the populist firebrands who seem to lack sufficient vocabulary or syllables to do much more than scream „F— Trudeau!“ But it’s all the same stew of resentment, nostalgia, hysteria and nihilism.

So thanks for mouthing off about Trump, Fr. de Souza, but I think we should talk about how you and your fellow travelers helped in your tiny way to make this aggressive criminal reactionary right wing thuggery possible.

A gangster … a wannabe maybe at best. The dipshit is too demented to do anything right and that isn’t in his own greedy interests or that of his family. I hope they all get their karma…. Otherwise I’m just going to have to rely on my dreams that they’ll be given pineapples to eat whole with their butt when they reach hell.
