    1. Interestingly enough, I read somewhere that Britain is now considering abandoning FPTP and going with some form of PR.

      Very silly article. It ignores or is ignorant of basic facts. Like it blames the rise of One Nation on Australia’s supposedly majoritarian electoral system. One Nation has until now won seats in the non-majoritarian PR senate. It used PR to enter politics. Same goes for Reform in the UK. It first rose to prominence by winning the PR MEP elections.

      The true lesson from these countries is that PR does hand a megaphone to extremists who then use that to destabilize and take over national politics.
