      The plane will never fly again because they won’t be able to repair it at all in the foreseeable future, or at a reasonable cost; they’ll have to scrap it (which will also take a long time), and then try to use the remaining parts elsewhere as spare parts. Excellent work, and a total loss.

      Should have hit 3 meters up. I’m afraid they’ll be able to cobble it up back together using some decommissioned airframe

      That’s great, of course. But I’m still a little disappointed that it seems to have hit only a single plane.

      I keep waiting for headlines like “Entire airfield destroyed,” or something like that… 😀

      Good, but they can likely recoup it for spare parts, and maybe fuse it with a tail section from the boneyard.. But hard to determine any more damage from SAT photos.

      Engels keeps getting hit and the Tu-95 fleet keeps shrinking, at this rate Russia won’t have any Bears left to send over Ukraine.
