Just teens?
I feel like even most Korean grown ups don’t seem to want to or don’t find contraceptive as necessary in Korea.

The prevalent culture is that contraceptive is the male’s responsibility, and that birth control pills are extremely harmful for the woman to the point where it’s not even something to consider for a lot of them.
With their low birth rates and generally them having kids only within marriage mostly, I assume the teens most not have that so much sex that this is an issue.
