Most people are simply screwed in this economy, and the liberal government is doing nothing to improve people’s economic situation. Heating fuel is going up by several dozen percent and the government is doing nothing about it, which makes things easy for the extreme, anti-Ukrainian right wing. Without drastic increases to the minimum wage and bringing down the price of heating fuel (it’s shaping up to be the most expensive winter in years), it will be impossible to stop this right-wing wave.

Now ask how many people believe if:
– there is a huge effort of Russian propaganda in social media
– whether they would be affected if that was the case
I bet most people would say yes there is, and they wouldn’t be affected. And they’d be wrong

What help? State help? Do people not realize that they bring more to the system than they take out? It’s what Brexiters thought about Poles.

The paradox here is that polish govermnet used it for promotion, everyone from ko to the left – went nuts demanding more, konfederacja and the rest of the scum – to cut all support and deport.
When in fact support was kinda stupid, quite low and like un purpose to hide certain systemical problems like health care – its iteresting how everyone forgot it was evil Ukranians who drove the system into the ground and not multi-million salaries and bribes.

I’m 100% sure that most of the people asked in that poll have no idea what kind of help is actually given so this question is stupid.
Anyway, Russia can be happy that they are dividing us even further.

Unlike aid to Ukrainian state/military, aid to refugees doesn’t really help the war effort. Maybe, probably unlikely, those who oppose aid to refugees prefers those money spent the way it would actually hurt Russia.

The belief that the assistance provided to Ukrainian refugees in Poland is **too extensive** is more common among younger respondents (63% among the youngest vs. 40% among the oldest), people living in smaller towns and villages (58% in rural areas vs. 37% in the largest cities), those with lower levels of education (60% among respondents with vocational education vs. 37% among those with higher education), farmers, mid-level personnel and technicians (70% each), service workers and unskilled laborers (68% each), people who rate their own financial situation poorly (67% vs. 46% among those who rate it as good), and those with right-wing political views (60% vs. 33% among supporters of the left). See Appendix Table 2.
The respondents who most often considered the assistance offered to Ukrainians to be excessive were supporters of the Confederation Liberty and Independence (Konfederacja Wolność i Niepodległość) and the Confederation of the Polish Crown (Konfederacja Korony Polskiej). Such views also predominated, though to a lesser extent, among the electorate of Law and Justice (Prawo i Sprawiedliwość). In contrast, the majority of supporters of the Civic Coalition (Koalicja Obywatelska) and the Razem party considered the assistance provided to Ukrainians to be appropriate—neither too much nor too little.
| Potential party electorate | Too little | Sufficient | Too much | Hard to say |
|:——————————————-|———–:|———–:|———-:|————:|
| Razem* | 8% | 63% | 29% | 0% |
| Civic Coalition | 3% | 72% | 24% | 1% |

| Confederation of the Polish Crown* | 0% | 28% | 72% | 0% |
| Confederation Liberty and Independence | 0% | 23% | 75% | 2% |
**Note:** *Due to the small number of supporters of this party in the sample, the results for the rows marked with an asterisk (*) should be interpreted with caution.*

Russian propaganda worked. It is impossible for Russia to convince Poles to like Russia, but it is very possible for it to convince them to dislike Ukraine, even though helping Ukraine as much as possible is in Poland’s geopolitical interest.
