FYI, it’s worth reading the whole article if you’re interested in BC politics. Only the first half of the article is focused on Mike Bernier & Centre B.C.

The second half is a recap of recent bickering and sniping between the NDP and the BC Conservatives, which includes some fascinating nuggets that might not, on their own, make for a whole story. One example is the recent hiring of a member of **the Republican Alberta of Alberta** by the **B.C. Conservatives under Kerry-Lynne Findlay**:

      > The party has also hired Apollo Chung as its director of operations and stakeholder relations.
      >
      > Chung previously worked as the chief financial officer for the Republican Party of Alberta, a party which has campaigned for Alberta to separate from the rest of Canada and which has sought support from U.S. politicians to do so. Chung also worked as a constituency assistant for NDP Finance Minister Brenda Bailey until 2021.
      >
      > CBC News requested an interview with Findlay about a range of topics, including the recent hires.

That itself might make Mike Bernier and Centre B.C. much more palatable.

    2. Honestly funny to say this about the BC NDP who are very clearly only slight left of centre with an extremely broad tent.

    3. I have a very hard time taking anyone calling the BC NDP extreme. Especially after the last election. I don’t think I could find a „left wing“ position they’ve taken since the election. Even their union negotiations are catching heat.
