It doesn’t matter.
Trump will use any excuse, based or reality or not, to damage Canada.
That is the lesson. This isn’t about wild fires. It’s not about bridges. It’s not about unfair steel or aluminum pricing. It’s not about lumber. It’s not about fentanyl.
It’s about using any bs to push Canada down and pull the US up.
Fine. We won’t send help for US wildfires anymore. We also won’t send our valuable power line technicians to fix their issues after bad storms.
Seems fair to me.
The level of contempt this guy has for the basic intelligence of people whether they voted for him or not to try to gas light them into thinking climate change is constrained by borders on a map. Its performative outrage. Either that or he’s just exhibiting his own inability to grasp even the most basic science.

This topic is being promoted to stoke tensions and anger. We should be mindful of that. We should also be mindful of atypical news sources, like this one, and that their intention is in covering this story.
If it wasn’t about wildfires it would be something else.
Remember the fentanyl tariffs? More of it crosses the border into our country than vice versa. It’s always been about punishment and control, tightening the noose around Canada’s neck.
What a disgrace
I genuinely hope we never send any fire aid to America ever again. I don’t care how many of their cities are burning, how many American lives are ruined or how bad the damage is. Never send them shit.
The next time one of their towers gets taken down because of their imperialist policies in the Middle East, I don’t want any of their planes landing at our airports. If they do, their people can be confined to either the plane or the tarmac and we will send them the bill for taking care of their asses.
The next time their diplomats are stuck in a country, we should leave them there to face the consequences, whatever they may be, of their own governments actions.

I’m conflicted because I love that our government is being pressured to do better on climate. But obvs, we don’t need the world’s biggest polluter to point their spray-tanned finger at our economy.
America can’t even apply consequences to a president who had to pay his own r*pe victim millions of dollars the other day, spare us the outrage.
Of course he would , his advisors and himself are weak on some topics . This seems to be a trend of leaders of countries. They are know a lot about certain topics and nothing about other topics or they are ignorant about other topics .
The classic gimmick of tyrants is to continually develop and rant against external enemies. Nothing like shared hate to bring people together.
