It’s crazy that for $1k you can get an mri, ct, echo, bloodwork, endoscopy upper/lower and all done in one day/visit. That level of diagnostic would easily be quadruple the cost if not more in the US if you could even get it ordered and definitely not all in one place or within the same week
I am neither black nor woman, but I fly to Seoul in two days for medical tourism. „Around the world“ -type checkup and other unpleasant medical tasks, because the healthcare in China where I live these days is atrocious and somehow costs *more* than getting everything done in South Korea, with full English support in KR, with no insurance. Highly recommend KR for med tourism.
Mexico is probably cheaper and much closer. I go there a lot for stuff.
