So much for the friendship without limits.
Anyone else think, China has seen the ‚writing on the wall‘ for Putin & Russia and thus is repositioning it self to be more on the side of the perceived winners rather then the loser Putin & his supporters.
China only does what is in its own interest and its started saying no to Russia quite a bit recently. It rejected the idea of a oil pipeline between Russia & China for example. Also, it did not like N. Korea getting involved in the Ukraine war and Russia giving N. Korea advanced tech in return.
I think the opinion in Beijing is Russia is not going to win in Ukraine and Putin + supporters may not be in power in a few years time.
Finally doing the right thing.
china supports russia more than enough anyway.
China would like to have this equipment for their own Northern Sea route fleet.

Friendship has no limits, but russian trade is a rounding error for China and Putin might be reaching expiration date.
We’re seeing the beginning of a brilliant blackmail scheme against Russia here; I’m curious to see what China really wants – from Russia in return.
The cynic in me says:
„We’ll supply the parts necessary through a proxy instead.“
Who tf cares about what an authoritarian regime says, they decline in public and approve in private, people thinking otherwise are extremely naive

Wondering if russia missed it’s payment or just having to much on the tab. It’s friendship ain’t charity i guess?
