      This system is a pile of shit.

      If you get into office and change your tune to the opposite of what you ran on, we have to primary you? Shouldn’t that be cause for removal in its own? You work for me, idrgaf what your opinions are.

      Then the author is an idiot.  Compare his voting record to Collins and tell me there is no difference.  We need every vote we can get, and bad allies are much better than more opposition.

      Whelp, if he stays, he counts towards Democratic control of the Senate. Which means Democrats control which bills come up for a vote, not Republicans.

      And if Supreme Court justices need to be nominated, they can be… unlike when Mitch McConnell refused to do so at the end of the Obama administration.

      So, do you want to make it harder to achieve control of the Senate or not?

      He’d be very strong as a Republican candidate in primary and general, and will almost certainly lose Democratic primary if anyone runs against him (high likelihood).

      If thats the way he feels the honorable thing to do is resign immediately leaving the party or switching parties is not representing the people who put him in power its representing himself. But my guess is not enough of a man to do the honorable thing.

      I keep seeing this. It’s as if nobody has given him the ole please don’t go treatment he’s thirsting for and so he just keeps threatening to leave.
      He’s like the bridge jumper who keeps saying he’s gonna jump and we’re all back by our cars saying, I double dog dare ya

      Texas is dealing with this explosive-diarrhea causing bacteria at the moment. Apparently, the Democratic party has a similar issue to deal with.

      We picked him so it’s mostly on us. We’ve got to vet and recruit candidates better.

      For now we just treat him like a kirsten sinema and hope he’ll vote with us when we need him. Then we primary him when his term is over.

      It’s easy to say F him online but it’s worse if we abandon him and he helps republicans replace scotus judged with 19 year old nazis.

      There is something to be said about Senators who are not even beholden to their own parties.

      Fetterman is the Pennsylvania version of Joe Lieberman. Constituents deserve better than politicians who throw constituent allegiance to the wind whenever it doesn’t benefit them.

      I’m a PA Democrat and Fetterman lost my vote. He’s going to switch parties. Bye, John! No matter what 2028 he is gone.
