    1. They think they run the South Caucasus now because they won a war and have bought a lot of weapons.

arent you a sub that puts bomb sticker in russian tourist vehicle plates?

That image you see is just some funny joke.

    3. It’s a funny map, Borchali was only a small part of Kvemo Kartli, but here 1/3 of Kartli and 80-90% of Kakheti are depicted. If Azerbaijan wants to start a war, let it try and believe me, it will understand that Georgia is not Armenia.

    4. I don’t belong here, but just want to say this before that one person puts in the comment that „Armenians claim Georgia too“ comment.

      The difference between us,

Armenia as a state or government has never backed, nor claimed, nor sponsored any group to claim Georgian lands. You’d find certain nationalists doing it on their own accord with no connection to the state.

Azerbaijan however, has state sponsored education and indirect state sponsored groups that make these posts. Nothing happens without state approval, otherwise they can get you all the way in Paris, as we’ve seen.

OP is probably trying to instigate tension to further their nationalist agenda

    6. In my entire life, I have hardly met any Azeris who want to join Azerbaijan¯_(ツ)_/¯
      Most of them weren’t there.

    8. Which account made this post? Never ever someone said something like this or I heard here. there are some dense azerbaijani groups accros the south west part of georgia, especially in kvemo kartli. But borchali (which locates inside kvemo kartli in reality, unlike this map); the main part of georgia where azerbaijani groups are more dense than rest is NOT this big. Everyone knows this and nobody tells the opposite (maybe here and there are one or two people who every now and then claims this but not the rest– 99% of people living here). There arent exact instructions on what are the borders of borchali but we kinda have an idea on where it’s called- middle-south part of kvemo kartli, a bit lower than marneuli and upper ~20 kilometers from red bridge/border. Width also starts from the Tekali village to 3 or 4 villages to right. Sorry but this map was not made by anyone with enough knowledge, classic Instagram. Or was made especially to ragebait georgians.

I see Russian bots are angry about latest comments from Aliyev regarding Ukraine and unleashed their puppets from certain sub.

    10. As an Azerbaijani, who lives in Georgia, please no😭🙏🏻We don’t want to become a part of Azerbaijan

    11. Given their extensive oil revenues which directly flow into the military’s coffers and larger population is there much hope if there is a military conflict? Turkey would back them immediately, Russia may, and the EU hasn’t even been able to get turkey to stop occupying a member state

As far as I know, Azerbaijan as a country did not exist until the 1910s. What lands does it have?

I have recently seen an identical post in r/azerbaijan a week or two ago about Azerbaijani young men being killed in Georgia for speaking Azerbaijani, allegedly. Whoever or whatever group is pushing this kind of posts – idk.

      There you go: [https://www.reddit.com/r/azerbaijan/comments/1utwpdz/another_gift_from_our_neighbors_15_ya%C5%9Fl%C4%B1_%C9%99li/](https://www.reddit.com/r/azerbaijan/comments/1utwpdz/another_gift_from_our_neighbors_15_ya%C5%9Fl%C4%B1_%C9%99li/)

The OP in this post (r/sakartvelo post) has a reddit account of a week and is mainly involved in Caucasus subs. Suspicious.

Why do you guys take internet trolls seriously?

During Azerbaijan-Georgia football matches, Georgian teenagers hold „Qakh and Zaqatala are Georgian“ posters. Should we take them seriously? Of course not. If you take every internet troll and irredentist seriously, your life will be quite hard. There are irredentists of every type.

In the Caucasus, only Russia and Armenia have ever invaded provinces belonging to other countries. The Azerbaijani population of Georgia is quite loyal to Georgia. Also, mainland Azerbaijanis do not particularly love Georgian Azerbaijanis, since Georgian Azerbaijanis are religiously conservative compared to people in the Republic of Azerbaijan, just as Georgia is generally a more religious country than Azerbaijan.

There is no animosity between Azerbaijan and Georgia. The end of the story.
