Wir alle haben dieses WM-Spiel zwischen Brasilien und Norwegen gesehen und offensichtlich ist diese Mannschaft nicht mehr dieselbe wie die, die sie in den 2000er Jahren hatten, also war es nicht so schockierend, aber Mann, sie haben in ihrer Geschichte noch nie Norwegen geschlagen? Mit all den Legenden?

The primary reason is very few matches because Norway often have not been able to qualify.
The ones that have met Brazil fewer times are even worse. Norway is in the sweet spot where we have only met them when we have had a decent chance.
As a Brazilian I am to say I am really proud that Norway got so far this year in the World Cup. It was nice to see happy people in the streets, dancing and celebrating, it made me remember back home.
To be honest, this Norway stats and the fact that we lost to Norway in 1998 does not come to our minds at all. And I mean, at all.
Why?
We had already passed the group stage and the match was not worth it. Why would that be remembered for?
The only thing that year that comes to mind is the loss to France in the final and that is it.
Whenever people realise I am Brazilian and comments about the match and this stat I am polite and say it was a good game and Norway wanted the win more. If they try to be funny and mock, I just find it cute, I don’t even need to respond to this.
